Terry Muir is the Managing Director of e-par Pty Ltd and the creator of e-par. He has over 15 years environmental experience involving environmental assessment, environmental planning and management, environmental investigation and environmental law.
He has worked with Local, State and Commonwealth environmental bodies conducting compliance audits of industry, assessing environmental projects and he has co-ordinated and managed the investigation and prosecution of Australia’s most significant environmental incidents.
Terry developed environmental management protocols for the golfing and turfgrass industry. He is the author of an environmental management series for the golfing industry consisting of, Environmental Due Diligence – A Guide (2002), An Environmental Risk Management Tool for Golf Courses (2002), An Environmental Code of Practice – A Stepping Stone to ISO 14001 (2002).
Terry has also attended Harvard University’s “Golf Course Design” and “Golf Course Environmental Considerations and Cost Effective Construction” Office of Executive Education training programs in the USA.
Terry is the owner and developer of e-par®, e-par® was judged by the NSW EPA and Newcastle Council as the Best Environmental Product and Service winner; Best Environmental Policy and Planning winner; and Overall Winner in the Business and Government Sector. In July 2006 e-par® also won the IDC Award for Innovation.
Terry is a member of the Australian Golf Course Superintendents Association and is a representative on the AGCSA’s Environment Working Group. He is actively assisting the AGCSA implement Environmental Management Systems across the industry as part of a “world first environmental management initiative” for the golf sector.

Dean joined e-par® in early 2007 to be our Regional Area Manager for Queensland and Northern NSW. Dean brings years of valuable experience to the e-par team, having been Superintendent or greenkeeper at some of Australia’s most prestigious courses. Most recently, Dean was Superintendent (Construction and Maintenance) for Kooindah Waters Golf Club on the NSW Central Coast, which was awarded the Environment Award by the Wyong Tuggerah Business Chamber of Commerce in 2006 and was ranked in the top 25 public access golf courses in Australia in 2007.
Dean’s role within e-par® is to provide technical support and advice on environmental management. His years of service as a Superintendent have provided Dean with invaluable experience in the golf course industry, and he has built relationships with community environment groups such as Landcare and Greencorps. Dean can assist our members with queries they may have regarding their environmental responsibilities so that their club can become a valued and sustainable business that the community can be proud of.

Lee began his career as a shipwright, then moved into the construction industry on commercial management of substantial multi-disciplinary projects involving steel fabrication, steel erection, civil works and mechanical installations, estimating and contract negotiation.
Lee then moved into business management consultancy, project management and commercial advisory services, operating his own successful management consultancy business since 2000. Most recently he has held executive management positions in commercial, sales and general management roles with substantial public and private companies.
Now acting as commercial manager for e-par Pty Ltd, he lends his years of experience to producing go-forward strategies for the company and expanding services for e-par members.
